Cazenovia Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps (CAVAC) is a dedicated emergency medical services (EMS) provider serving the Cazenovia area and surrounding communities in central New York. Founded in 1974, CAVAC is a volunteer-based organization committed to delivering prompt, professional, and compassionate pre-hospital care. It operates 24/7 and is staffed by certified EMTs, drivers, and support personnel who respond to over 1,000 calls annually. CAVAC provides Basic Life Support (BLS) and works in partnership with advanced life support (ALS) services when needed.
