FDNY – EMS Command is responsible for providing pre-hospital emergency medical care and ambulance transport services throughout New York City. As part of the Fire Department of New York (FDNY), EMS Command is a crucial component of the city’s emergency response system, ensuring rapid medical assistance for residents in need. With a highly trained team of paramedics and emergency medical technicians (EMTs), FDNY–EMS responds to a vast range of medical emergencies, including cardiac incidents, trauma, and hazardous conditions.
