- Profile
Roxbury Farm is a community-supported agriculture (CSA) farm located in Kinderhook, New York, serving the Capital Region and New York City with fresh, certified organic vegetables. Established in 1990, Roxbury Farm is one of the first CSA farms in the United States and has remained a pioneer in sustainable, biodynamic agriculture. The farm produces over 100 acres of vegetables, herbs, and grass-fed beef using eco-friendly practices that support soil health and biodiversity. Members purchase a share of the harvest and receive weekly deliveries of seasonal produce during the growing season, connecting them directly with how their food is grown.
In addition to its CSA program, Roxbury Farm is committed to equitable food access by partnering with food justice organizations to provide subsidized shares to low-income families. The farm also offers educational farm tours and internships, fostering deeper public understanding of sustainable food systems.
